STRANGE PHENOMENON APPEARS IN FRENCH SKY

fs translation:
On Saturday, Jan 17, shortly before 19:00, the mayor of Saint-Etienne-de-Villeréal in Lot-et-Garonne, observed a surprising phenomenon in the sky.

Raymond Benne, 72, testifies in the South West Journal of this strange light phenomenon:

"A big orange fireball and four or five streaks of red sparks. It was very far, it did not fall vertically," he said.

The mayor is not the only one to have observed this fireball. It was seen from Toulouse to Perpignan and even in the Alps, where several eyewitness sightings were recorded.

Many of these stories have been sent to the group studying unidentified aerospace phenomena (Geipan) CNES.

The director of Geipan, Yvan Blanc confirmed that he received "three stories that match."

The hypothesis theory put forward by the Director of Geipan is "of a meteorite or space debris, or satellite launcher," having been seen in the atmosphere. It's a phenomenon already discussed several times by the Geipan.
